Live Linux Suggestions
From: Unkmar Via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ From: Unkmar unkmar gmail.com: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'd like a modern Live Linux distro for recovery tool purposes. I am about to lean toward Puppy because of Time constraints. While I can and would research it... Time constraints. So if anyone has poked around lately. I would like something with a Windows 9x/2000/XP Style desktop. Such as LXDE, LXQT, XFCE, Cinnamon, Mate. I do not want tiling, Unity, or Gnome. I am sure there are plenty of others that I would hate. I have a preference towards Arch or Debian based. -- Lucius L. Ships with most tools you need for recovery operations which means you don=E2=80=99t have to install from a re= po. Fedora Silverblue is also pretty awesome if you are looking for immutable. Looks like Mint has a Trixie-based Cinnamon, which may be mo= re to your liking. - Tyler

Amazon has them, among places. RD/Rick Flowers Likes FB, wikitree, mastodon, and tvrail.com Sent with Proton Mail secure email.
